PBL Giant Panda Field Research Camp

Officially settle into the Giant Panda International Forest Exploration School to conduct wilderness survival skill training, learn about SDG ecological conservation knowledge, and establish research teams and project topics. In the evening, create PBL research maps, watch ecological documentaries, and strengthen theoretical foundations for experiential learning.

Join a guide on a wild panda monitoring patrol, hike 5 km along a transect line to track wildlife signs, and gain hands-on experience in transect survey techniques. Create nature-inspired art pieces and participate in an evening seminar focused on the ecological impact of umbrella species, deepening your understanding of ecosystems.

Explore an ecological science museum in depth, systematically learn about plant and animal knowledge; build insect houses by hand and conduct a PBL project on wildlife habitat assessment. In the evening, embark on a night forest exploration to discover the fascinating ecology of the nocturnal wilderness.

Study professional courses on giant panda health management and artificial breeding, and participate firsthand in conservation activities as a volunteer. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner by the campfire, sharing insights from the program and creating cherished family memories.

In the morning, students present their PBL project final reports and attend a study tour award ceremony, where official certificates are presented. In the afternoon, they are transferred by private vehicle to the airport, with assistance provided for overseas families in handling departure procedures, marking the successful conclusion of the giant panda ecological research expedition.
